Payments, Shipping & Delivery

These are the Terms and Conditions of service that you must accept when placing an online order with Bayside Soap Supplies. You will check a checkbox at checkout and this is the information that you agree to.

We ship Australia-wide and in some cases to New Zealand, using Australia Post, Fastway and Sendle Couriers. Items are packed on a first come first served basis on weekdays (excluding public holidays and vacations we may take) once payment is received in full and a valid address has been supplied by You.

We are a small team of two and occasionally when one of us is sick or unwell packing times extend by one or two business days. If you are concerned about whether an order will arrive on time, please email us and ask – we are more than happy to let you know ESTIMATED pack and ship dates.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SELECTING EXPRESS SHIPPING DOES NOT ENTITLE YOU TO EXPRESS PACKING.

You will not be placed at the front of the queue. Express shipping is YOUR MODE OF POSTAGE ONLY.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT SENDLE COURIERS PICK UP THE DAY AFTER YOUR ORDER IS FINALISED. You need to take this into account when estimating delivery. 

There are 5 delivery options available on most items: Australia Post Regular, Australia Post Express Post, Sendle, Fastway and Local Pickup. For local pickup, please see our terms of service here

1. Courier Shipping (Sendle, Fastway)

IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT ENTER A PO BOX OR PARCEL LOCKER FOR A FLAT RATE SHIPPING ADDRESS – THESE ARE OWNED AND OPERATED BY AUSTRALIA POST AND WE CANNOT USE COURIERS TO SHIP TO THESE. IF YOU NEED TO USE A PO BOX OR PARCEL LOCKER, YOU WILL NEED TO SELECT AUSTRALIA POST.
 
They also cannot deliver between certain hours.
 

2. Flammable Items

We can only ship these items via Australia Post Regular. Examples include citrus essential oils, isopropyl alcohol and tea tree oil.
 
Please note that these cannot be shipped by Sendle, Fastway or Aus Post Express services. 
 

3. Change of Mind Refunds

We will not be processing change of mind refunds, if your order has already been processed. Please buy responsibly. We are a small business and are facing the same challenges as you during this period. Packing an order takes time which costs money. It also uses resources such as boxes/satchels, tape, packing filler and protective wrapping to name just a few. Thank you for your understanding 🙂
 
As it is often difficult to represent a product online, please buy a small quantity before purchasing larger quantities and test it thoroughly. We will not refund a product because the colour or smell is different to what you had thought it would be once you use it.
 

4. Order Status and Tracking

An email confirmation will be sent for all orders once received and tracking info will be provided where available once an order is finalised. If you have not received an email, please check your junk email folder. 

5. Modes of Payment

We accept payments via Square, Afterpay, Zippay, Paypal and direct debit. Please visit squareup.comzip.co/auafterpay.com or www.paypal.com for more information. We do not accept payments via cash on delivery for online orders.

6. Insurance

If your parcel is lost or damaged in the mail, we accept no responsibility for the loss. If you are worried about a large order being lost or damaged please contact us for an upgrade to insured mail. Send us an email at [email protected] to do so.

LIABILITY

  • Bayside Soap Supplies takes no responsibility for the items you create using the products we sell. It is your responsibility to formulate, label and market your products correctly and ethically.
  • Bayside Soap Supplies takes no responsibility for any damages that befall your products in transit, or upon opening the package or contents roughly (spillages etc.). Please ensure you open your package carefully and check ALL parcels enclosed as we use recycled packaging which can sometimes look like padding. If you throw away a product that was wrapped in this manner, we take no responsibility for the loss.
  • Our maximum aggregate liability for any product supplied to you shall in no circumstances exceed the amount payable by you to us in respect of the product(s) in question.
  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland. 
  • Bayside Soap Supplies reserves the right to stock products that suit us and change prices at any time. We do not guarantee pricing will not change, nor do we guarantee continuity of stock.
