Blue-green lustrous/sparkling mica.
This mica has a wide range of particle sizes and will produce both a lustrous and shimmering effect in clear soap.
In white/opaque soap this mica will produce a pastel effect.
This mica is made from fluorphlogopite, a superior synthetic form of mica that has the following benefits:
– biodegradable
– plastic-free
– not mined (no unethical labour issues)
– created under laboratory conditions
– no risk of heavy metal contamination (as with natural mica)
– high-temperature performance.
It is suitable for a wide range of cosmetic applications. For liquid applications, disperse in oil, water, glycerine or isopropyl alcohol.
