Have you been watching a tonne of YouTube soaping videos and fallen down a few Pinterest rabbit holes? Do you think you might have the soaping bug? Then, this 2 hour intensive (but fun) course is for you!
This course is based in Wynnum (Brisbane Bayside).
Learn how to make 4 types of melt and pour soaps using popular techniques!
Suitable for beginners and intermediate soapers. You will make 10 bars in total, using different types of soap bases.
This course will teach you the following:
- Layering (rainbow soaps)
- How to use cavity moulds and loaf moulds
- How to use different types of colourants such as bio-glitter, neons, micas, oxides and lakes
- Embedding botanicals
- How to wrap and label your soaps
- You will walk away with 10 gorgeous soaps!
- And many more helpful tips, tricks and common newbie mistakes to avoid along the way!
We have jammed as much as we can in to this two hour block, so please come well fed. We will have a small break towards the end for tea and coffee. No other food is provided (we won’t have time to eat!).
Note: Please do not bring children, we don’t have childminding facilities and you won’t have time to look after them 🙂 Children over 13 are welcome if attending the course, but must be accompanied and assisted by a parent/carer.
